The NRS (New Residential Structures) eight-hour course meets the DPOR Title 54.1 Chapter 5 requirements for the initial 8 hour New Residential Structures (NRS) home inspectors’ training course professional education. Virginia licensed home inspectors who wish to inspect new homes must complete an eight-hour DPOR approved NRS (New Residential Structures) Course. The eight-hour NRS course must be completed before inspecting a new home to be in compliance with the Virginia Home Inspector Regulations.
